QASYR is a structural measure project from the TEMPUS programme whose aim is to contribute to the modernization and improvement of higher education in Syria, through the development of a quality assurance approach in the Ministry of Higher Education Technical Institutes.  

 The project will work on the definition of pilot standards of quality assurance and the implementation of a process of internal and external evaluation in 5 pilot institutes. These standards and procedures will be a first step towards guidelines for quality management in the whole subsector of vocational higher education.

This website’s purpose is to provide information about QASYR project, its activities, development and all documentation produced during this 3 year’s programme.

Most of this information is open to everyone interested in the project and in the field of quality assurance in Syria. Some pages have a limited access to the participants in the project.
